Imagine warm textures, low key colors, cute accents and patterns that can effortlessly shift between pumpkin spice latte season to the shine of holiday parties. Cozy Neutral Plaid
When you have plaid on nails, it is always autumn around your fingertips, and this design captures it perfectly. French manicures are infamously steady-hand, however the tip I learned courtesy of a Vogue feature is to apply very thin nail vinyls to trace the curves prior to painting. Then you have symmetry without going nuts.
In my opinion, this is fall/winter elegance in a bottle. It slides seamlessly between the office conference and dinner on vacation and is different enough to draw attention, but not so much that it appears trendy-for-trendy.
Molten Copper Chrome
Using copper chrome nails seems like molten metal dripping into your fingertips. This color is the warmness of fall sunsets, as mirrored on the glossy surface which reflects light in all angles. This style is bold and unexpectedly flexible, as the almond shape adds to the elongated grace.
To obtain this appearance I would grab a gel foundation in burnt orange, applied with chrome powder on top like Daily Charme Copper Mirror Chrome. A no-wipe topcoat is necessary to fix that glass-like appearance without killing the metallic effect.
Making chrome nails is not an easy task. Nail professionals usually suggest polishing the nailboard flat and rubbing it with the chrome powders using a silicone applicator instead of a brush. It allows a smoother finish and the powder bonds well to the gel polish.
To me, this manicure is a showstopper. I did once put on copper chrome to a holiday dinner, and I cannot count the number of compliments I received–it is festal, dramatic, and somehow seasonless.
Golden Spice Mix
This nail polish is a candy-coated texture blending glossy chocolate brown, shiny gold, sunshine orange with rhinestones, and candy-striped designs with metallic accents. The nails are individually a mini masterpiece, but the palette unites them both in a joyful autumn atmosphere.
The colors I would use to recreate it would be OPI, Chocolate Moose and Sun, Sea and Sand in my pants. When it comes to glitter, the gorgeous gold foil Zoya “Austine” is the choice. The tape used to strip the gold lines helps a great deal in making them clean and the rhinestones can be placed with a dab of nail glue.
It is effective in layers, the darkest colors are applied first, followed by curing, applying glitter or stripes in this order, all sealed with topcoat. Nail artist Tom Bachik has frequently mentioned that accent nails should be balanced in such a way that they do not dominate the hand, but it is a lesson that I have retained ever since.
Whenever I come across this style, I associate it with warm ups and bright lights. It is glamorous without being excessive, a bit of shine, a bit of warmth and a lot of character.

When I have attempted celestial nails, I was instructed to use many little dots in place of the traditional too many, to make them smaller and bigger; it makes the nails dimensional rather than flat. Once, nail artist Gina Edwards said that contrast is the most important: darker nail with metallic elements always stands out.
I just cannot help admiring this design. Each time I have laid my eyes on it, it seems like you are carrying a small chunk of the universe in your hands. Enchanted and advanced simultaneously.
Holiday Cocoa Glam

It is easy the base colors are put on, allowed to settle and the striping tape is laid up diagonally then the layer of the berry shade laid over the top of this. Paint, peel and finalize with a shiny top coat. I have once attempted this trick when in a hurry and even then it appeared salon worthy.

The saturated pumpkin color I would use is OPI’s Cajun Shrimp or Essie Playing Koi-both of them give that warm orange feeling without being too neon. I admire how colors such as this will automatically make an outfit look better. Imagine it’s like a dark lipstick–it is strong, slick and a bit rough.
Milky White Waves
Lightweight, airy, and infinitely comfortable, this milky white swirl pattern has that clean girl vibe but redefined to suit colder seasons. It is whimsical with the wavy details, and the pink-beige bottom keeps it fresh and classy.
To make this I would recommend using a clear base, such as Essies Ballet Slippers. Then brush in whitish lines with a line brush–less is more to make it light. Gel-X extensions are a great addition to gel users to obtain that sleek square tip.
To be quite frank, such an appearance is my best fall/winter transition design. It is as smooth as the homemade knit sweater of manicures, plain, aseptic, infinite, and fashionable.
Glossy Black Flames
When you want to have nails that are a little dangerous, black flame tips are the way to go. The shining jet-black fires on a smooth naked bottom are the exact mixture of cool and classy. It is an update on a manicure that is somehow modern yet also references early 2000s flame trends, only this time it is smoother and far more fashion-forward.
To achieve this appearance, I would suggest a long square or coffin-shaped tip to be as dramatic as possible. The Black Onyx gel polish provided by OPI is dark enough to imbue the flames with that lacquered look, yet a sheer nude such as Essie, Mademoiselle, provides a fresh and new appearance to the base. Nail professionals tend to apply flames using ultra-fine liner brushes, and I have found that it actually does make a significant difference as far as creating sharp curves is concerned.
It is relatively simple: apply your nude base, and trace the shapes of the flames using a liner brush before smudging them in, particularly using darker colors. Almost all of these are layered beginning with matte bases, with clean metallic accents applied following. To avoid chipping, especially on metallic designs, experts would advise a glassy topcoating even on matte polish to maintain its longevity.
To me, this set reminds me better of the holiday than any jewelry would. It makes me feel like wrapping gifts, drinking mulled wine and simply enjoy the warm atmosphere of string lights.
Rose Gold Elegance
