Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025: Minty Cool Styles That Elevate Your Summer Look

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025: Minty Cool Styles That Elevate Your Summer Look

Summer has arrived, so your nails can be a bit more fun. But what kind of design should you pick that’s both trendy and really you? What if just one shade of green could make you feel differently—or dress differently? Green is more than a shade this season; it’s a mood. No matter if you prefer neon, pastel or emerald, there’s a style here for you.

If you’ve been looking at Pinterest for new manicure ideas that are both trendy and meaningful—this is for you. I’m here to give you ideas for nail art that will look great both online and in real life.

Botanical Gold Meets Sage Elegance

Maybe it’s the leaf designs or the sheer, nude color with light gold veins that makes these nails so special. If you’re after a quiet, stylish look, I think it would be the best Fresh Green Nails choice for Summer 2025. The two rich sage green nails make the look deeper and the leafy details on the middle fingers seem both natural and carefully planned.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Botanical Gold Meets Sage Elegance
To achieve this look, I’d grab a gel polish set in shades like Olive & June’s “WKF” (a dusty sage) and a detail brush for the art. You can use two shades of green on the leaves such as Beetles Gel in “Olive Grove” and a lighter mint. Don’t miss using the thin striping brush and metallic foil to paint the golden veins.

Getting this finish at home? Totally doable. After your nails are ready and you’ve applied a neutral sheer base, use a small brush to outline the leaves and then fill them in with two matching green colors. When the print is done, apply foil transfer gel and stamp in the gold. After applying a high-gloss topcoat, you’ll have garden goddess hands.

The design gives me a gentle, morning feeling as if I’m walking through a greenhouse. I had this same look on at a brunch picnic last year and people I didn’t know complimented me at the smoothie bar. It’s that kind of mani—quietly captivating.

Lime Pop & Apple Play

Don’t you get those days where you just want to enjoy yourself? This mani’s for that exact moment. Lime green nails are energizing and the two green apple nails are simply adorable. It’s hard not to smile when you see this design. It’s fun but not silly; think Y2K mixed with pop art and a strong 2025 touch.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Lime Pop & Apple Play
The main product to try is a neon lime gel polish—you can find it as Lights Lacquer’s “Now & Later” or OPI’s “The Pass is Always Greener”. For the apples, you’ll want a beige base, a black gel pen or tiny brush and a bright green shade for the fruit.

If you are doing this on your own, start with a gel base and cure it. Paint small dots to make the apple shapes. After they’re done baking, outline them with black and add tiny black seeds and green leaves for a nice touch. What makes this cool instead of kitsch are the small details.

To be honest, this would look great on someone at an outdoor concert or shopping at a farmers’ market. You’ll make a statement with this mani, but it’s still a style you can wear daily. My normally neutral-loving friend even said, “Okay wait, I really like this.”

Pastel Lime Meets Trippy Marble

Let’s pause for a moment to admire how great lime green and wavy, almost trippy, black, white and forest green marble look together. I’m all for “summer art gallery opening with a matcha latte,” which is exactly what this is. It’s a strong and stylish design, but the pastel lime makes it feel softer.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Pastel Lime Meets Trippy Marble
A good way to get this look is to apply a mint or pastel lime polish first. Essie’s “Feelin’ Just Lime” hits the mark. With marble art, use black, white and dark green gel polish swirled over a sheer base. Before you cure the legs, use a thin tool to pull the lines into gentle waves.

One thing I learned from a video by Mei Kawajiri is… Drop a small amount of clear polish into the swirl while it’s still wet to make the design look like water. A UV lamp and some patience will help you achieve a great look at home.

I tried this mani when I was in Miami last spring and it got more attention than what I wore. There’s a classy and playful touch to these colors which you can wear with a white dress or a tee and jeans.

Geometric Emerald Chic

If you’re looking for something neat and trendy, this emerald green nail design is perfect. This accent nail is decorated with a layer of orange, yellow and black graphics over a nude base and it feels like something you’d see at a fashion show. The other nails are kept strong, adding a fresh modern look to the style.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Geometric Emerald Chic
I suggest using Deborah Lippmann’s “Single Ladies” or DND’s “Emerald Forest” to get the same base color. An accent nail will need a neutral sheer base, along with some bright gel polishes and either striping tape or nail vinyls to get the precise look. Patience is your best friend here.

If you’re going DIY, map out the lines lightly with a fine-tip pencil before painting. Apply the colors with a striping brush, one layer at a time and make sure to cure between each layer. A top coat will protect the shine and keep your manicure looking great for days.

I think of a friend who is an architect when I see this look—it’s cool, clean and a little mysterious. It’s proof that simple doesn’t mean boring. There’s elegance in symmetry and power in color contrast.

Swirling Dark Green With Golden Marble

Welcome to the glam corner of green. This manicure goes deep with dark green and has dreamy marble nails decorated with translucent whites, gold leaf and forest swirls. This is a moody manicure, one that’s perfect for a rooftop at sunset, with a glass of chilled prosecco.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Swirling Dark Green With Golden Marble
Both Zoya’s “Hunter” and Olive & June’s “Besties” are great for that rich forest green color. Mix white and green gels together, apply with a swirling brush and then add bits of gold foil before curing the marble. The transparent base helps create that dimensional floaty effect.

It’s a great fit for evening wear, but if you love a dark, stylish look, you could wear it during the day too. And yes, it photographs beautifully.

For me, this style is perfect for weddings or big events. It’s a fresh feeling, but also one that seems classic, like the kind of manicure that makes you want to hold your drink perfectly all night.

Striped Watermelon Pop

The goal of this design is to find a happy medium between lively and bold. The stripes go from bright neon green to a rich pink, making the shirt look like a watermelon from the inside. The neat, even lines give the nails a look that seems both lively and put-together—like a healthy nail version of a juice cleanse. It’s new, it’s tasty and it’s everything 2025 represents when you don’t have to say anything to be noticed.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Striped Watermelon Pop
If you want this effect, try Holo Taco’s “Green Taffy” with Cirque Colors’ “Retail Therapy” to get a lovely pink and green manicure. You’ll need either striping tape or an experienced hand with a long brush to paint the lines properly.

Pro tip: Lay down your base color (green or pink), cure it, then apply striping tape for the second color. Press down hard on your nails after the first shade and then remove the top layer before curing once more. It may seem like work, but trust is definitely something you should aim for.

This design made me think of a girls’ weekend when someone pointed out I had fruit salad on my fingers and I considered that the most flattering thing anyone could say. Sometimes, nails are meant to be fun. Period.

Matte Minimal with a Gold Twist

Matte finishes always look elegant and this design shows off a deep green base, empty nail spaces and metallic accents. A gold stripe is placed over a sheer nude base, next to a bold green diagonal, to give the look a clean and elegant result. These earrings look like a bit of jewelry for your fingers and they’re simple, modern and go with anything you wear.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Matte Minimal with a Gold Twist
You’ll need a matte top coat (I love OPI Matte Top Coat) over a saturated forest or emerald green, plus gold striping tape or Orly Instant Artist Gold. The base is best with a neutral gel and I recommend The GelBottle Inc “Silk”.

To do this at home, paint your base and block the edges with nail guides or painter’s tape. Add your color and gold stripe, then seal with a matte top coat (on the solids only). Keeping the negative space glossy adds unexpected texture.

I chose this look for a summer networking brunch and people really thought I had gone to a spa for them. It demonstrates that a simple approach, if done well, can be as powerful as any fancy or noisy design.

Lime French with Golden Waves

French tips are always classic, but this version gives them a summer twist by using lime green and lovely golden lines. It feels like summer at the Hamptons, but with a hint of citrus. The almond shape makes the box more elegant and the metallic foil shimmers as you move the box.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Lime French with Golden Waves
The best colors to choose are Essie’s “Feelin’ Just Lime” or Le Mini Macaron in “Pistachio”. To get that soft golden curve, use nail foil or Gold Leaf Transfer Gel and dab it gently to avoid making it perfect.

I draw the wave by hand after the lime tip and use foil glue to apply the gold accurately. A topcoat with gel helps your manicure last longer which is key if you’re going to the beach.

This mani inspired me to replace all my accessories with gold and put on some white linen. It’s that fresh, that aesthetic, and that vibe-setting.

Olive Garden Floral

Olive green nails never go out of style and they look even better when matched with a hand-painted botanical flower. You’ll notice that the ring finger is decorated with a hyper-realistic white flower. It’s gentle but has depth, showing up on a green background like a peaceful moment. All the other nails are plain and smooth, so the flower designs can be easily seen.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Olive Garden Floral
A soothing olive shade such as Zoya’s “Charli” or OPI’s “Suzi – The First Lady of Nails,” is what you should choose. To do the bloom, a paint pen or highly pigmented gel polish will give you the best results. And patience. Lots of patience.

To do it yourself, paint on the base and then cure it. After that, use a white gel art pen to draw the flower, changing the opacity to give the petals different depths. Give the leaves a slight touch of mint or forest green to finish the background around the flower.

It makes me think of my grandmother’s garden in late June—plenty of flowers, a warm atmosphere and everything looks beautiful on purpose. I wore a similar look for a family gathering, and even my aunts (who never notice nails) were obsessed.

Fresh Marble on Short Green Canvas

We’re finishing up with a quick nail style that shows you can still look luxe with short nails. The nails are split into pure white and bright green and two of the green nails have a light marble effect. The lines are thin and look like fresh mint leaves or quartz. There’s something about this that makes it feel crisp, modern and perfect for spending time outside this summer.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Fresh Marble on Short Green Canvas
To do this well, use Olive & June’s “HD” for the white and Beetles Gel’s “Lime Fizz” for the green. To use the marble pattern, put a little white in with the green and mix it by swirling it with a fine detail brush or needle tool. Top it with a glossy coat for shine.

If you’re doing this at home, paint the white first, let it dry and then add your green and swirl before it dries. You’ll get the best results with gels if you are comfortable using a UV lamp.

This design is great for those who want a simple look but want something different. I wore this on a city staycation and it went with every outfit I had. A true quiet showstopper.

Petal Play in Pink and Green

This pack features a green base and adds pink and white flowers for a fun and whimsical look at botanical art. Alternating pink nails makes the green stand out, while adding a touch of cute sweetness. This style nails (pun intended) the cute category—it’s fresh, romantic, and totally picnic-date approved.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Petal Play in Pink and Green
You can get the same look by using Essie “Mojito Madness” on the green and Olive & June “RYL” on the pink. Using a fine brush or dotting tool, put on many small white and pink strokes over the green on the petals. If you want a greater bloom effect, finish your project with a high-gloss topcoat.

I loved this style so much that I did my own nails for my friend’s backyard bridal shower and felt like I was part of the decor. Floral nails are always popular, but adding yellow makes them look fun and perfect for the summer season.

Mint Marble Dream

I’ve never seen a summer mani done so coolly as this mint green and white swirl design. The light pastel color calms the look and the marbled accent nails add a bit of movement. It means enjoying a matcha latte and blue sky days and I couldn’t be happier about it.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Mint Marble Dream
You only need a pale mint polish like Sundays No. 18 and a white cream to get this look. Apply a dry brush or nail art pen to two nails, mixing the two colors and leave the others plain for a neat, up-to-date look.

To get the swirls, put a white base on your nails and draw a mint polish across with a toothpick or fine brush. You need to be fast so the polish doesn’t set before you finish. Use a gel topcoat to make the nails look more interesting.

It’s like you’re taking a weekend break, all while staying in your own skin. It might be simple, but it’s impossible to overlook and everyone loved it when I paired it with linen pants and gold hoops. A vibe.

Ladybug on Forest Green

If you’re a fan of a little unusual polish, this is just so cute! A ladybug looks great when it’s placed on a dark forest green background. It’s classy, easy to maintain and full of fun. It’s just impossible to keep a straight face when you look at it.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Ladybug on Forest Green
Use Zoya “Hunter” for the green and pick a red and black gel for the ladybug. Painting the body and tiny dots cleanly can be done with both a dotting tool and a fine-tip brush.

Apply two coats of the green base and cure. After that, paint the ladybug’s body red and its head and spots black. Don’t forget to dot two tiny antennae. Topcoat everything for a glassy finish that lasts.

If you love nature, cottagecore or want to add some forest magic to your life, this one’s for you. I was walking through a botanical garden when people stopped me to ask about my watch.

Sugar Lime Fantasy

This design is all about citrus, neon and anything juicy. You’ve got that sugar-textured accent nail (yes, actual texture!), a glossy lime green finish, and a finely detailed lime slice that honestly looks like nail art ASMR. It stands out, it’s perfect for summer and it lets your nails speak for you.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Sugar Lime Fantasy
Apply Color Club’s “We Liming” first and then add a textured sugar topcoat to just one nail. You’ll need your nails to be nude, a small brush and neon green mixed with white to create the perfect pulp gradient for the lime slice.

I find that applying topcoat over textured sugar nails helps the sparkle stay but makes them less likely to snag. To get a clean citrus effect, first trace your lines and then fill them in for lime art.

I chose to wear this set for a beach bonfire and sipped on a lime margarita, as you’d expect. They’re a little over the top, but it’s in a way that feels exciting and completely 2025.

Matte Jungle Leaf

Closing out with a serene stunner. The matte black and green nails are decorated with fine leaf silhouettes which gives them a jungle-at-sunset look. It’s artistic, yet not too much and the matte look ensures the design stays current and simple.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025+Matte Jungle Leaf
A nice emerald or forest base looks great with a matte finish on top, using OPI’s Matte Top. Draw the leaf lines with a fine detailing brush and the color Cirque Colors “Hustle.” If you don’t have much time, a stamping plate will do the job.

Add the base, cure and then carefully place the leaf designs on top before applying matte topcoat. Take your time—it’s the straight lines and gentle gradients that make the design stand out.

It reminds me of lazy mornings, the wilderness and sunlight coming through tall trees. I tried the same thing during a yoga retreat and felt my nails belonged to both nature and fashion.

Modern Forest Green with Minimalist Accent

It’s a bold color, but it’s also quiet and elegant—this forest green nail look brings a mood to your hands. Four of the nails are a smooth, dark green cream color, while the accent nail adds a bit of fun. A simple beige base is cut with an emerald stripe and topped with matching green dots, resulting in a minimalist style that’s still fashionable. The way everything is arranged gives the look a classic feel that’s still very modern. These Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 can make any Tuesday feel like you’re on the runway.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Modern Forest Green with Minimalist Accent
I applied Essie’s “Off Tropic” as the base to achieve the look—it’s dark enough to be rich, but not too dark. For the nude base, OPI’s “Samoan Sand” works beautifully. A dotting tool (or even a bobby pin) was used for the dotted line, while a thin striping brush helped with that diagonal slash of color. I always use Seche Vite for the top coat, since shine is important to me.

To begin, file, buff and push back your cuticles. Apply a solid base coat (I like Orly Bonder for grip), then do two coats of your green shade on four fingers. The accent nail gets the nude polish first. When the first layer is completely dry, use a striping brush to make the green slash on an angle. After that, gently add dots using your tool. Let the art dry fully and after that seal it with a top coat of gloss.

This design kind of sneaks up on you. It’s simple enough for everyday wear, but there’s a sophistication that always catches compliments. I put it on for a Sunday brunch and everyone wanted to hear about it. And honestly? Summer seemed to be starting right where I was.

Bright Lime Charm with 3D Bow Detail

A lime green manicure is the perfect way to make a real statement with your nails. The nails are painted a bright lime color, making them seem like you’re enjoying mojitos by the pool. Then, as if it couldn’t get any better, there’s a white accent nail finished with a green 3D bow and a small crystal center, like a present you never expected. This combination of bold and cute is done so perfectly.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Bright Lime Charm with 3D Bow Detail
If you want to copy this, I suggest using Beetles Gel Polish in “Neon Lime”—it’s bright, but not too fluorescent. For the bow detail, nail art accessories like 3D polymer clay bows are easy to find online (Etsy is a great source). You’ll also need nail glue and a strong UV top coat to seal it in and prevent snagging.

Gel polish works best for designs like this. Put on the base coat, cure it and then apply your green gel in two layers, curing in between. For the accent nail, paint it white (I used Gelish “Arctic Freeze”), cure, and then apply the 3D bow with nail glue. A top gel seal will keep your manicure looking great and protected, so don’t forget it.

I usually stick to simple colors, but I couldn’t help but love how light green and crisp white look together this season. It felt a little whimsical, a little luxe. My niece thought it looked like Barbie’s favorite gift and I think she was spot on. It’s fresh, a little cheeky, and very 2025.

Earthy Elegance in Olive, Yellow & Gold

I find it so delightful that this combination of olive, mustard yellow and gold foil isn’t what you’d expect. It’s giving “sunshine on a vineyard” energy. They have a serious feel, but they are also pleasant and summery. The mix of light sage and leafy details over a milky nude background creates a look that’s hard to miss.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Earthy Elegance in Olive, Yellow & Gold
The key players here are Olive & June’s “WKF” for the olive green, Zoya “Bee” for the soft yellow, and a gold foil sheet (I found mine at Sally Beauty). To get a nude base, use Essie’s “Ballet Slippers”. You should have a detailing brush to make the soft vine pattern.

After shaping your nails into a soft almond (which really sells the luxe look), apply the base shade. Alternate with green and yellow on different fingers. Paint the leafy design on your nude nail with a small brush and then place a piece of gold foil on it while it’s still sticky. Finish with a top coat.

This one felt grown-up but totally current. The weekend I wore it in Sonoma, it went well with flowy dresses and woven sandals. Olive and yellow aren’t often seen together, but when they are, it looks great! It’s like citrus and herbs—unexpectedly perfect.

Sleek Jungle Stripes with Almond Flair

This style is all about the vibe—emerald green stripes on a sheer pink base, with solid deep green nails and everything is shaped into almond tips. It’s classy but also a bit wild, just as stepping onto a cool grass field in summer feels. The difference between the nails makes the music seem like a jungle rhythm from today. I have this on my list of top Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Sleek Jungle Stripes with Almond Flair
I used OPI’s “Stay Off the Lawn!” for the dark base and OPI’s “Bubble Bath” for the sheer nude base. You can’t do the swirly green lines without a thin striping brush. Nail tape can help guide clean lines if you’re not confident freehanding.

Paint the solids first and then do two coats of nude on the striped nails, curing them if you’re using gel. Take your striping brush with green paint and make swirls going up and down the nail. You don’t need to be perfect—the natural, slightly curved lines add to the style. Finish with a glassy top coat.

Wearing this design felt… cinematic. I felt like the main character in a summer movie. It’s sexy, confident, but not trying too hard. It almost guarantees you’ll want a cocktail and a set of gold rings on each finger.

Botanical Sage with Leafy Detailing

If you’re feeling mint, sage or olive, this is the recipe for you. A pale green is paired with a light beige and leafy branches painted by hand are placed over two nails. It’s a delicate style, works well for late summer days and is ideal when summer gives way to fall but you’re still enjoying the sun.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Botanical Sage with Leafy Detailing
I reached for ILNP’s “Reminisce” (a gentle sage shimmer) and Essie “Topless & Barefoot” for the beige base. For the leaves, a fine-tipped nail art brush and a metallic green polish (like Color Club’s “Angel Kiss”) work wonders. Adding a bit of gold adds a gentle touch of glitter to the leaves.

Shape your nails into a rounded almond for elegance. Alternate full green and nude nails. As soon as the base dries, paint thin lines with your art brush to make leaves on one side of every accent nail. Remember to add the small gold vein accents—they make the whole design better. Top coat is essential for longevity.

It represents me best—I’m calm, thoughtful and I often look for a little drama in my life. My mom wanted me to make this again for her summer birthday brunch. When my mom tries to copy a nail style I’ve done? You know it’s a win.

Watermelon Whimsy in Forest & Pink

This one is juicy. Literally. The earthy summer feel is brought out by using deep forest green on every nail, except one. The next thing you notice is a very sharp, colorful slice of pink and green watermelon. This trend is shiny, has depth and is tons of fun—it makes you think of the past while looking modern. The seeds, white rind and pink inside give the fruit a fun look, but it’s not too much.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Watermelon Whimsy in Forest & Pink
I added ILNP “Tombstone” for its dark green sparkle, since the gold flecks in it shine beautifully. If you want the watermelon nail, use OPI “La Paz-itively Hot” for the pink and Essie “Blanc” for the rind. You only need a thin detailing brush and dotting tool to finish your makeup.

While this is a bit more involved, it’s still worth learning. On all nails except the ring finger, start with your green base. After that, put the pink on the accent nail in a half-oval shape. Draw a white outline on the edge and then a green one. Drop the seeds into the pot using a dotting tool and finish by coating everything with a top layer. Done.

I chose this for my nails on a beach vacation last year and it ended up being my favorite “fun” style. Strangers asked about it in the coffee line. It’s both cute and a little sassy. On top of that, it’s just plain good next to a frozen margarita.

Dark Jungle Chrome with Wild Leopard Detail

When the wild calls, you answer with animal print. The sharp square tips on this set are finished with a glossy dark green lacquer. The emerald leopard nail really makes the look stand out—it’s matte black spots on a green base, a little subtle but very fierce. Think grown-up glam with an edge. These nails command attention without raising their voice.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Dark Jungle Chrome with Wild Leopard Detail
I went with OPI “Stay Off the Lawn!” again (yes, it’s that good) and Maniology Black Stamping Polish for the spots. If you don’t feel confident with hand-painting, a stamping plate will be very helpful.

Paint two layers of green and let them dry or cure completely. Apply the leopard pattern to one nail using a stamping tool or draw it on yourself with a dotting brush. A gel top coat will leave your nails shiny or you can choose a matte finish if you want something different.

This manicure feels empowering. You’re organized but you can still have a great time on the weekend. It’s the kind of Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 that makes you feel like the main character—even if you’re just running errands.

Matte Mint Blocks and Negative Space

Short, sweet, and stunning. The mint-y matte green is combined with negative space in this geometric, modern set with ease. The green edge is on every nail and the inner part of the nail plate is either plain or painted a different color with a single stud. Minimal, but with major style payoff. This design shows that a simple approach can still be very appealing.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Matte Mint Blocks and Negative Space
I decided to use Zoya “Jace” for the cool light green color. A matte top coat is important and OPI Matte Top Coat works great. While tiny nail art studs are not necessary, they really improve the overall look.

This one is easier than it looks. Paint the green onto the sides of each nail (or use striping tape if you’re worried about symmetry). Leave a portion of the nail natural or nude. Stud your nail when the polish is just tacky and then cover it with matte top coat.

I love this because it’s the opposite of busy. It separates your nails in a way that looks nice but isn’t dull. I’d recommend this for a gallery opening, a brunch on the roof or any time you want to show you notice the details.

Green & Cow Print Remix

Unexpectedly iconic. Who imagined that green and black-and-white cow print would be the trend we’d be wearing in summer 2025? This combo is perfect: two lime-green nails with a funny cow-print design. The almond shape keeps things refined. It’s barnyard-chic and TikTok-approved.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Green & Cow Print Remix
My green is Beetles Gel Polish “Avocado Cream” and I dotted the black spots by hand over a base of Essie “Blanc” using Sally Hansen “Black Out”. You get the most control over your spots when you use a small brush or dotting tool.

Paint two nails in your green shade. Some paintings need two layers of white, followed by black dots in random shapes—don’t worry too much about the design. Cow print is all about irregularity. Don’t forget to add a coat of top wax for extra shine.

I wasn’t sure about the cow trend when it started. After adding a bit of green, I finally understood. It’s cheeky, bold, and surprisingly flattering. It’s also the sort of nail art that people always comment on.

Lime Meets Moss: Art Deco Geometry

These nails are a whole art piece. Imagine lime, moss, nude and cream colors divided with little stripes of gold tape. It’s a new geometric design that’s both organized and flexible—Art Deco mixed with the feel of summer. It’s amazing how rounded shapes and color blocking mix and the light green, dark green and neutral colors make it perfect for summer.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Lime Meets Moss: Art Deco Geometry
I applied Olive & June “KMC” to the pastel lime nails, Zoya “Wyatt” to the dark green nails and Butter London “Yummy Mummy” to the beige nails. Nail striping tape in gold adds structure and shimmer.

Apply your base colors first. Let them dry or cure completely. Press a piece of striping tape down on the nail, making sure each colored block is separated. Make sure you apply a good layer of top coat to prevent bumps and keep things sealed.

There’s an elegant feel to this style that reminds me of resorts. To me, the set is perfect with a linen jumpsuit, some vintage gold hoops and a cold drink. A style for the girl who wants to look like she’s always discovering the best rooftops.

Lime Marble Whirl with Pearl Detailing

This is elegance dipped in sorbet. The base is a clean white and two contrasting accents blend lime, white and pastel mint into a pretty marble look. Colors filter through with an easy summer breeze and the tiny pearl-like detailing brings that much-appreciated extra softness. There’s something refreshing, even a little spa-like about it. Here are the Fresh Green Nails of Summer 2025 and they’re a little bit of cloud nine.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Lime Marble Whirl with Pearl Detailing
I used Gelish “Sheek White” as the base and finished with Color Club “Feathered Hair Out to There” and Beetles “Light Green”. I got the marble effect by using a blooming gel—you can try Born Pretty’s Blooming Gel. The pearls are mini half-beads from Daily Charme.

First, put on your white polish on all your nails and cure it if it’s a gel manicure. For the marble effect, mix green, mint and white, then brush the mixture over the gel where it is blooming. Let it spread, then cure. Stick on little pearls using a nail glue or base coat. Finish with a glossy top coat.

This set makes me feel completely peaceful. While I was in Cape May for the weekend, my dress made me want to slow my pace, drink some cucumber water and start reading that book I’d been avoiding. Baristas and beach shop girls also stopped to tell me how great I looked. It’s cool and calming—but make it couture.

Avocado Dreams with Glossy Green Punch

Okay, this is for all the avocado toast girls (raises hand). There’s a bright green base, along with two nails that are painted to look like 3D avocados. Yes, I’ve done green nails with an avocado design, complete with shiny pits, because sometimes summer is best with a little more. The seed is shown in 3D, the rind has texture and everything is perfectly balanced against a neutral nude background. This is summer playfulness at its most chic.

Fresh Green Nails for Summer 2025 Avocado Dreams with Glossy Green Punch
The lively green energy comes from the base color Essie “Mojito Madness.” I applied OPI “How Does Your Zen Garden Grow?” for the avocado, Zoya “Flynn” for the pit and a clear builder gel to make the avocado dome. The nude base on the nails in this tutorial is Essie “Topless & Barefoot”. You should get a dotting tool and a thin brush to paint the different layers.

After preparing your nails, cover the green polish on all of the nails. When you have finished the accent fingers, place the nude base and let it dry completely. Then, use green polish to outline the avocado shape. After you have the inner green, paint a darker green around the edge. Add a brown polish to the pit, let it dry and then finish with a thick gel top coat to get that great avocado shine.

This collection is like having brunch with friends outside and a mimosa close by. It’s cheeky and full of personality, but the clean execution keeps it from being kitsch. Honestly, I didn’t want to take it off. This design is so cute and perfect for Instagram that it can really brighten your whole summer—and your mood.
